Waste Management Scholarship Application

The Zula B. Wylie Public Library and Waste Management are proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Scholarships.  Emori Reece, Cedar HIll Resident and graduate of Cedar HIll High School is planning to use her scholarship to attend Texas A&M University in  College Station.  Carson Pinon, Cedar Hill resident and graduate of Grace Preparatory Academy has plans to also attend Texas A&M University.  The Scholarship winners will be announced at the Cedar Hill City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 28th, during the regular meeting at 7 pm.  Congratulations to both graduates!

The Zula B. Wylie Public Library is very proud to announce that Waste Management is giving away two $1,500 scholarships to 2018 Cedar Hill ISD graduates or graduates who are residents of Cedar Hill.  Application includes an essay that is no more than two pages double-spaced describing the role they can play in helping the sustainability of our community.  Requirements also  include a minimum 2.6 GPA, official high school transcript, two letters of recommendation and a desire to further their education by attending a university, junior college or trade school.  Winners and their families will be honored by the Mayor and City Council at a regular council meeting.

Please complete and/or drop off at the Circulation Desk of the library. The deadline for submission is Saturday, April 14, 2018 by 5:00 p.m.
